Who We Are:

Picture this… Thanksgiving Eve, 1991. Two guys find out they’re both musicians who jam well together. Their wives convince them that they shouldn’t stop there— and we haven’t stopped since.The Michael Craig Band has played all over the tristate for 200 years— at bars, restaurants, pubs, venue halls, outdoor festivals, street fairs, private parties, and LOTS of second weddings— playing to audiences that vary from 20 to 10,000 people.After so many years the MCB catalog has expanded to over 2,600 songs (author’s note: this is actually not an exaggeration). We play music from the 1940s to modern day, from rock to jazz to pop and famously hardcore Irish music…We were even named on 101.5 as the must see Irish band in NJ!And to add to the chaos, we added Mike’s daughter Jess. After funding her private college education she only needs to sing about 427 more gigs to make up her debt.Lots of music, lots of fun!
